RA Materials specialise in the supply of ZERON® 100 (UNS S 32760) super duplex stainless steel pipe work systems, components and castings, mainly serving the oil and gas, desalination, mining, chemical, marine, power and pollution control industries.

We sell bulk project pipe work packages to end users, engineering contractors and fabricators. We also sell to pump and valve industry customers, other OEM manufacturers, stockists, and fastener companies who wish to manufacture their own products in an alloy compatible with the material of construction of the bulk pipe work system. We saw cut, deep hole bore, OD turn and centerless grind bars, profile plates using plasma, water jet and laser cutting and we machine components for customers. We ship worldwide.

We have finished and semi finished raw material in project quantities to facilitate fast delivery of large and small project requirements. Our inventory provides ready availability of quality products. ZERON 100 (UNS S 32760) is stocked in Manchester, UK in standard ANSI/ASME sizes in both finished and semi-finished forms. Availability of raw material and finished items allows for on time delivery of orders in accordance with customer documentation and inspection and testing requirements.

All melting and refining, hot working, forming and heat treatments are fully qualified and in accordance with approved procedures and processes. RA Materials hold ISO 9001.

ZERON 100 (UNS S 32760) super duplex stainless steel

ZERON 100 (UNS S 3760) super duplex stainless steel is a high strength, corrosion resistant stainless steel that resists all forms of corrosion attack in seawater service. It is readily available in all product forms. We have replaced corroding high pressure sea water feed pipe work constructed in 316L, 904L and 22% chromium duplex stainless steels with ZERON 100 very successfully on several occasions.

Our ZERON 100 (UNS S 32760) super duplex stainless steel products compete strongly with 6% molybdenum super austenitic stainless steels by providing lower base metal costs due to lower levels of nickel and molybdenum. ZERON 100 (UNS S 32760) super duplex stainless steel offers further cost reductions because its high strength, which allows for reduction in the wall thickness of pipes and vessels in accordance with pipe and vessel codes. ZERON 100 (UNS S 32760) super duplex stainless steel provides low cost, long life, minimum maintenance facility for all sea water applications.

Seawater reverse osmosis applications of ZERON 100 (UNS S 32760) super duplex stainless steel

In seawater reverse osmosis, ZERON 100 (UNS S 32760) super duplex stainless steel has been used extensively as the material of construction of high pressure seawater feed pipe work, sea water intake pumps; high pressure sea water feed pumps, vessel side and end ports, energy recovery devices and manifolds, valves, and cartridge filter vessels.

We work with engineering contractors worldwide for project new build requirements. Many international projects have used ZERON 100 (UNS S 32760) super duplex stainless steel. These developments range in capacity from a few thousand m³/day plants, small capacity, skid mounted and containerised units for use on golf courses and in hotels and hospitals (we regularly this equipment supply off the shelf from our warehouse in Manchester), to 10,000m³/day to 20,000m³/day municipal and industrial plants that are usually expandable in phased modules to higher capacities, to major municipal plants in the range 100,000m³/day to 250,000+m³/day.
